Terms and Conditions for Gold Medal Catering Awards

Eligibility

  1. Participants: The awards are open to all catering businesses and professionals based in Ireland.
  2. Entries: Each entry must be an original work created by the entrant or their business.

Entry Submission

  1. Format: Entries must be submitted through the official online platform. Entries submitted via other means will not be accepted.
  2. Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday, 4th October. Late entries will not be considered.
  3. Entry Fee: A fee of €100 Excl VAT per premises entry applies . However, participants can submit up to 5 entries for a total discounted fee of €100.

Payment

  1. Non-refundable Fees: All entry fees are non-refundable once submitted.
  2. VAT: All fees and charges are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Judging

  1. Process: All entries will be judged anonymously by an independent panel of experts. The Gold Medal Catering Awards are judged on the site visit/inspection and the entry form undertaken by members of the judging panel. The last review will be Sunday, 8th December.
  2. Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, execution, and impact and the criteria are detailed in each category.
  3. Decision: The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcomes.

Awards

  1. Categories: Participants can enter multiple categories but should demonstrate a competitive edge in each.
  2. Notification: Winners will be notified at our Gala Dinner Event and announced at the awards ceremony in Clontarf Castle.

General

  1. Amendments: The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
  2. Publicity: By entering, participants agree to their business being profiled in media related to the awards.
  3. Confidentiality: All business and financial information submitted will be kept confidential and only accessible to the judging panel.
