Terms and Conditions for Gold Medal Catering Awards
Eligibility
- Participants: The awards are open to all catering businesses and professionals based in Ireland.
- Entries: Each entry must be an original work created by the entrant or their business.
Entry Submission
- Format: Entries must be submitted through the official online platform. Entries submitted via other means will not be accepted.
- Entry Fee: A fee of €100 Excl VAT per premises entry applies . However, participants can submit up to 5 entries for a total discounted fee of €100.
Payment
- Non-refundable Fees: All entry fees are non-refundable once submitted.
- VAT: All fees and charges are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
Judging
- Process: All entries will be judged anonymously by a member of our panel of experts. The Gold Medal Catering Awards are judged by the on site visit/inspection and the entry form completed by the entrant. The judges will organise a date that suits the entrant best, to review (i.e The stationary kitchen base or to go a live event to see the set up) and will finish all visits by February 2025
- Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, execution, and impact and the criteria are detailed in each category.
- Decision: The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcomes.
Awards
- Categories: Participants can enter multiple categories but should demonstrate a competitive edge in each.
- Notification: Winners will be notified at our Gala Dinner Event and announced at the awards ceremony.
General
- Amendments: The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
- Publicity: By entering, participants agree to their business being profiled in media related to the awards.
- Confidentiality: All business and financial information submitted will be kept confidential and only accessible to the judging panel.
